Customer Clerical Assistant (MRO Assistant)
Work Location: In our Salt Lake City office (no work from home option).
The Opportunity:
Compliance Ally Leader WorkForceQA is seeking an organized and reliable Assistant to our Medical Review Officers. MRO Assistants perform administrative tasks to support our Medical Review Officers for the process of reviewing drug test results. This position is responsible for reviewing and sending out drug test results in an accurate, timely and efficient matter.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Track all drug test paperwork by obtaining it from the lab website, or by calling the collection site.
  • Quality check of downloaded information in database.
  • Obtain additional information if needed via email, fax or phone call.
  • Make outbound phone calls pertaining to drug test results.
  • Receive documentation via email/fax and attach to correct test.
  • Perform other duties and related functions as needed or assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of MS Office (word, excel) with 10-key and typing skills of 40 wpm; Strong data entry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent customer service skills; Strong phone etiquette and professionalism
  • Quick learner, self-motivated and ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Ability to listen to team members’ feedback and self-correct/adjust as necessary
  • Positive and friendly attitude and ability to work in a team environment
  • Expected to be at work on time and on days scheduled

Background Screening Specialist – Job Description
Location: Remote in our select service areas
Reports to the Background Screening Manager
Compliance Ally Leader WorkforceQA is seeking a dynamic professional to join our Background Services team.  The Background Screening Specialist will have a variety of duties and responsibilities including processing, reviewing and delivering background checks to our clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Process and review various components of background screening such as criminal/civil searches, employment and education verifications, Motor Vehicle Records, sanctions databases, and other necessary searches.
  • Work with local, state and federal agencies to obtain or confirm information on our clients’ candidates.
  • Work with vendors and court researchers to ensure accurate information is being reported within our designated turnaround times.
  • Ensure background screening reports are compliant with applicable regulations, law, and any client specifications.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries from customers and candidates.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain PBSA FCRA Core Certification within 30 days of employment (Training Provided)
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience conducting background screening
  • Experience conducting background screening in regulated industries such as DOT, FMCSA and FAA a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) as it pertains to Consumer Reporting Agencies
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience in a professional setting, business-to-business preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems within the bounds of department policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and assess information in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in following troubleshooting procedures, including information gathering, identifying the steps being taken by the user to re-create the issues, and then documenting details to assist in the resolution or escalation of customer issues.
  • Microsoft Outlook and Internet/Web Skills
  • Listening and rapid comprehension skills; strong verbal and written communication abilities using proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional while dealing with difficult customer situations.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality and privacy standards for consumer information.
